Expanding Hope — Phase II: Building a Brighter Future Together, We’re Creating More Space for Second Chances

For more than 50 years, DAWS Animal Welfare Society has been a beacon of compassion—rescuing, healing, and finding loving homes for thousands of animals in need.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our supporters, Phase I of our Expanding Hope campaign transformed our shelter into a more welcoming, efficient, and hopeful place. But our mission is far from complete.

Phase II continues that journey—expanding our facilities to provide even more care, comfort, and connection for the animals and people we serve.

What Phase II Includes

Phase II focuses on essential facility improvements that will directly benefit animals and the people who care for them, including:

  • Expanded and modernized Dog and Cat Housing Areas
  • A new Clinic Reception Area and upgraded Surgery Suite
  • A Puppy Nursery and Foster Pantry to support our youngest rescues
  • Dedicated spaces for Volunteers, Training, and Community Engagement

These improvements ensure that DAWS Animal Welfare Society can continue to provide the highest level of care—today, tomorrow, and for decades to come.
